  • Temiorae (former Gwansachon, Chungcheongnam-do)

    It was built in 1932 when the Chungcheomnam-do Provincial Office moved from Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do to Daejeon. It was used as a temporary residence for President Syngman Rhee, who took refuge in Daejeon during the Korean War, and was the site of the June 27 Special Broadcast. After a turbulent modern and contemporary history, it underwent extensive repair and restoration work and was newly opened to the public under the name 'Temiorae'.

  • Daejeon Modern and Contemporary Dictionary Exhibition Market

    It is the oldest existing government office building in Daejeon.   • Expo Science Park

    Expo Science Park is a symbolic place in Daejeon, the city of science where the 1993 Daejeon World Expo was held.   • Dongchundang

    Dongchundang, Treasure No. 209, is an annex built by Song Jun-gil, a scholar of the Joseon Dynasty, who came down to his hometown and named it after himself. As part of the Songchon-dong residential land development project, Dongchundang Park was created with a yard, pond, and octagonal pavilion in the area in front of Dongchundang. Cultural and tourism interpreters provide free commentary every day, except during the winter months of January and December.
